For over 15 years, Lauri Johnson Landscape Design has been creating and caring for unique landscapes throughout the greater Boston area. As a lifelong nature lover, Lauri was drawn to a career in creating beautiful, environmentally friendly landscapes. With an undergraduate degree in Biology and Environmental Science, Lauri furthered her education by studying landscape design and horticulture at the Landscape Institute at Harvard University, Arnold Arboretum, New England Wildflower Society, and other local and regional horticultural societies. Because Lauri believes strongly in continued learning, she regularly keeps abreast of new research, best ecological practices, and landscape trends by participating in ongoing professional development and networking.

Design

Updating the landscaping around your home can improve your enjoyment of your property and increase your property value. We love collaborating with our clients to bring their landscape dreams to fruition.  After communicating with you to understand your goals, we will then assess the existing conditions of your property, and create a landscape plan that fits your needs, style, site conditions, and budget.

 

 

Consultations

For those of you who are looking for something less than a formal landscape plan, we provide consulting services for an hour or two to provide guidance about your property. We can address horticultural or landscape design questions or concerns you may have.

 

Planting, 
Maintenance &
Pruning

Our skilled team of gardeners will plant your new garden properly, optimizing your garden's chances of successful establishment. We will also help you with garden maintenance, pruning and plant-health assessment. Although the gardens we design and plant are low maintenance, there will still be some ongoing care involved. Our trained gardeners know when and how to help your landscaping to continue to thrive and look its best.
